Children spend around 1,000 hours in school every year. That means between kindergarten and 8th grade alone, your child will spend nearly 9,000 hours with their teachers and peers on a school campus. Where they attend school matters, and in our rapidly changing world, we see alignment between home and school being an increasingly important consideration for families. The choice to invest in Christian education is challenging for many families, but we believe that the benefits greatly outweigh the costs. In light of that, we strive to make Christian school tuition as affordable as possible for all families. Our commitment to affordability includes:

Multi-Child Discounts

If you have more than one child enrolled at SCS in grades K-8, the per-child investment is less.

Payment Plans

Families may choose an annual, quarterly, 10-month, or 12-month plan.

Fee-Free Structure

You won’t be surprised by any fees along the way, including registration, technology, or textbook fees.

The Stallion Opportunity Fund

This fund allows families to apply for reduced tuition that is right for their financial situation. See more below.

TRIP

Families purchase gift cards that are sold to SCS at a discount. The difference gets credited to tuition.

Volunteer Tuition Credits

SCS will reduce your tuition every hour you volunteer for the first 30 hours.

Stallion Opportunity Fund

The Stallion Opportunity Fund allows families to apply for reduced tuition that is right for their financial situation.

Sussex Christian School is blessed with donors who are invested in the young people of the next generation. They are eager to see your children raised to be disciples and live fully for Christ. This generational support structure is blessed when you choose to partner with them and invest in your children.

T.R.I.P. (Tuition Reduction Incentive Program)

TRIP is a valuable program. Families are able to purchase gift cards at face value; however, SCS is able to buy these cards at a discount. The proceeds are shared between the tuition for the SCS family and OEL. While the phrase, “Every little bit counts” may sound trite, dedicated TRIP users can save thousands of dollars off of tuition. TRIP is not only for currently enrolled families. Future SCS families or even families without children but planning for the future can start today!
