Why We Gather

Now in its 47th year, the Auction & Dinner is still one of the most meaningful nights on the SCS calendar. Families, alumni, staff, and friends fill the room to celebrate what God has done at Sussex Christian School and to help build what’s next.

Every dollar raised goes straight back to our students, faculty, and facilities. Last year, thanks to this community’s generosity, we raised over $50,000. If you’ve never been, this is the year to come see what it’s about.

What Is the Auction & Dinner?

The event is just what it sounds like, an evening that includes both a silent and live auction, paired with a delicious buffet dinner. Guests will start the night browsing silent auction items, enjoying dinner, and connecting with others in the school community. As the evening progresses, we transition to a high-energy live auction featuring some of our most exciting offerings.

This is an adults-only event held right in the Sussex Christian School gymnasium. It’s a fun, casual evening filled with community spirit and joyful generosity. Whether you’re bidding on a class basket, a weekend getaway, or simply there to enjoy the night, we’d love to see you there.
